Picsha Events: a QR code at the door, and the gallery sells
November 6, 2026
Last winter on the IPI forum, a retailer asked for a QR code that puts guests' photos "in a folder within your store's ordering system." Picsha Events, live today, is that: a photo gallery for every wedding, party, team banquet and Santa weekend, under your brand, that sells through your own Picsha storefronts.
Every gallery comes with a 4×6 sign to print: your logo, the event's name and a QR code. Guests scan it and add their photos from their phones, with no app and no account, and everyone sees the same gallery: a full-screen viewer, a slideshow, favorites, downloads if you allow them, and a PIN if the family wants one.
What makes it a Picsha product:
- The gallery sells. At the top of every gallery, under Take it home: a book of the event with its cover and title already designed, and the gallery's photos on your gifts. Each opens your own Books, Prints or Gifts storefront with the photos already in it, and the order comes to your lab like any other.
- No Books or Gifts yet? It still sells them. Picsha makes and ships those orders for you, "Fulfilled by Picsha for" your store, and pays you a 12% referral on every one. Set up your own whenever you like and sell them at your own prices.
- Search like a phone. Picsha reads every photo as it arrives, so a gallery of a dozen photos or more gets a search box: "first dance," "the cake," "beach." Search for something that isn't there, and it says so.
- Shoebox, for scanning jobs. Scan a customer's box of prints or slides into a private gallery the family opens with a six-digit code, searches, shares, and orders reprints, a book and gifts from. One click emails them every scan at full size.
- Nothing disappears by surprise. Event galleries stay up for a year, or as long as you set; before one closes, you and the host get a download link for everything, and then it's archived, never deleted. Shoeboxes are kept until you say otherwise.
Picsha Events comes with Picsha Hub, for every store, with no fee, no gate and no gallery limit. Gallery orders are ordinary Prints, Books and Gifts orders at your prices, so they count toward those apps and the rate they earn you. See the rates.
